Recorded 2001 & 2003 and released 2004. Tracks 1-8 and 10 recorded at Gizzard Studios (then in makeshift form at the Original Karma rehearsal studios in N16) Produced by Monkey Island and Ed Deegan (Engineer) with Charlie Finke on harmonica. Tracks 9 and 11 recorded and mixed at Southern Studios London Produced by John Robb Engineered by Harvey Birrell. All songs by Pete Bennett, Jan Noble, Darren Searles. Artwork by Monkey Island assisted by Nigel Buckner. Jan Noble came up with the title of the album and the cover concept, photos are of a vintage typewriter I gave him for his birthday. The record was the band moving away from the blues punk influence and distilling their ideas back through punk, krautrock and classical music, it was fun to make and fun to play. we were touring the UK, Scandinavia and eventually Italy. It took around a week to record in total.
